A two-day training program was organized for civil engineers by the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), in collaboration with the Department of Urban Development and Building Construction (DUDBC) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The training focused on the implementation and practical understanding of Building Code of Wind and Earthquake Resistant Building Structures (BCWP) and the Electronic Building Permit System (EBPS). The program aimed to enhance engineers’ technical knowledge and capacity for safer building practices and streamlined approval processes, promoting efficient, disaster-resilient urban development in Nepal.
