Panchpokhari Trek
The Panchpokhari Trek in Sindhupalchowk is a peaceful 5–7 day journey to five sacred alpine lakes at around 4,100 m. Starting from villages like Bhotang or Chautara, the trail passes through lush forests, traditional villages, and offers stunning views of the Jugal and Langtang Himal ranges. It’s especially spiritual during the Janai Purnima festival, when pilgrims visit the lakes. Best trekked in spring or autumn, this off-the-beaten-path route combines natural beauty with cultural and religious significance.
